28 Weeks

Hi all,

Sorry it has been a while since I wrote. Not too much has been going on except a growing belly and SO MUCH kicking in there. I know I have said it before, but getting to feel her moving around in there makes me so happy. Although it makes me a little nervous how active she is going to be. It isn't that she is just kicking, but she flips and twists and shakes and bounces too. Amazing. I think we have a little acrobat and/or yoga guru in there.

We just went for our 28 week appointment yesterday and everything looks good. I have been keeping up with my blood tests, etc and so far so good. We got a picture of her face last night that I might post, but it is kind of creepy. I love getting to see her on the ultrasound, but when they take pictures of the face it always looks a little weird.

So, today we are off to Chicago for little Jack's 1st birthday and my baby shower. I am excited to see my cute little nephew and have him say hello to his cousin. Maybe he will get to feel her kick too. I am also excited for the baby shower, although these kinds of things always freak me out a little. I am not a big fan of being the center of attention, but it will be really nice to see my family and friends. I'll post some pictures of it here after we get back.
